Kelly J. Cooper
I asked for help. Help arrived. Thank you!
I asked a repeat client if she had any ideas on where else to advertise and she emailed me a few interesting thoughts.
I put up three free ads with the Phoenix online (all under "services offered" but one under "academic," one "business," and the third "creative"). If I don't get any nibbles, I may upgrade them to premium or whatever (which is where the money starts to come in). They'll run until 12/5.
Which reminded me, I haven't posted an ad to Craig's list in a while, so I did that too.
I said 'yes' to people messing about with the flyer's layout.
ETA: I found the contact information for my flyer hanging guy and asked him if he can poster in smaller batches (that I can afford) and he agreed!
FOLLOW-UP REQUEST #1: If you are an alumni of a Massachusetts-area college (especially the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville campus), can you tell me which building(s) to find the Psychology department? Location-finding hints or map pointers are even more appreciated.
FOLLOW-UP REQUEST #2: If you know of any math, science, psychology, business, etc. type associations, drop a pointer to their website(s) in the comments. I'll try and find a newsletter or something to advertise in.
FOLLOW-UP REQUEST #3: Can someone make a banner ad for me? I don't even know what the standard ad sizes are, but a horizontal one would be spiffy.
