What the hell is vermiculture?
Using earthworms and microorganisms to convert organic waste into black, earthy-smelling, nutrient-rich humus is knowns as vermicomposting. - Marry Appelhof, Worms Eat My Garbage
I will be giving a talk on the subject at the next meeting of The Somerville Garden Club THIS Wednesday, 14 February 2007. Come celebrate Valentine's Day with invertebrates.

Although, if you would like to join the club, membership is $20 and includes a 10% discount at Pemberton's and the monthly newsletter.

The SGC meets on the second Wednesday of every month 7:00–9:00 p.m. at the Tufts Administration Building (TAB), 167 Holland St., second floor. The meetings are open to the public and are wheelchair accessible. Most meetings begin with a roundtable discussion of seasonal gardening issues, followed by a speaker, and ending with a raffle. Raffle tix are optional and cost 50 cents each. You can also buy an SGC t-shirt for $20 and collections of past newsletters for $5.

Worms rock! South Australia is home to the world's biggest species, which grows to 2 metres long and the thickness of a broom handle!

So, basically, what you're saying is...

The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out...

or would that be

God is Good, and God is Great,
    God's a big Invertebrate,
