Formatting note: whitebird was correct in that, after dumping them out from iTunes into text format, I was able to pull them into MS Excel & got a nice columnar format which was much easier to cut & paste. It also allowed me to include album info with less pain.
Historical note(s): Glen got me into Soul Coughing when he played "Bus to Beelzebub" at The Ranch. Regis got me into Sanna Kurki-Suonio by DARING ME to RESIST dancing to this track. I believe Sifl & Olly was the combined fault of Romkey & Platypus Rex. I think I can blame many of you raving about Jonathan Coulton before I finally caved & listened. Pat McCurdy was an obsession of talk.bizarre Back In The Day and I recently burned a bunch of his albums after unearthing them accidentally one day. I heard Pink Martini on NPR. While I loved Paul Williams as a kid, the Phantom of the Paradise soundtrack is explicitly JB's fault. The Monkees & the Partridge Family reflect my loony upbringing while my love for Louis Armstrong reflects my ever-evolving (for the better, thank goodness) tastes. The Dropkick Murphys are a local obsession, intimately tied to my love of the Boston Red Sox.
