I cleaned something! Granted it was a little 2' by 3' piece of kitchen floor real estate, but man, I packed a lot of crap into that little space and it's been dramatically cleaned up & there's just a pile left that needs sorting (everything else has been thrown away, shredded, recycled, or found its proper home).
AND, I started a load of laundry before I started cleaning & so it should be done about now, in line with having completed the other chore.
This was interesting because I've been sleeping through my entire Saturdays for months. (Ever since I went to Friday nights/Sunday nights working at the Picnic, I haven't had much energy on Saturday.) But today, the BF woke me up in the afternoon (while I was having a pleasant enough dream for once), and I had a small task I wanted to complete (calling a member of the Somerville Garden Club to coordinate getting a used potting bench from her) so I actually woke up enough to take my pills and call her up. Then, on the phone, she volunteered to drop it off! And that was motivation to get up and get dressed and whatnot. As a bonus, she and her hubby actually did drop it off! So now I own a medium-sized potting bench. Woot!
And, in between all these things, I dumped 5,000+ emails (archiving a huge mailing list I'm on) into a bunch of folders, dramatically reducing the size of my personal email spool.
Four tasks completed so far, plus some editing work to do for money, and I've set a few appointments for next week. That's a much better track record than most of my days. I'm taking this as a sign of mental improvement.
