Because there was some concern... [Jan. 15th, 2009|02:56 am]

I'm alive. Just an FYI, as there was some concern. Mostly OK. Fighting off depression-related paralysis.

I'm twittering as kjccreates (http://twitter.com/kjccreates) if yer bored.

Writing shorter things seems easier, but I'm having difficulty even doing that. Also, I tend to twitter silly stuff that seems (to me) too trivial for an actual LJ post. And it has some of my attempts at comedy.

For my non-local, non-suspects friends, this weekend is Arisia, the science fiction convention, so I'll be mostly offline from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon/evening. I haven't decided if I'm going back to the con on Monday. (I took Sunday off from the Picnic, so you won't find me there if you go looking.)

In re writing shorter content: huh, I should have told you about ficlets.com when it was still alive. Too late for it now, but its successor, ficly.com, is taking email addresses for notification of when it's up and running.

Actually, it's more the challenge of writing something coherent in the 140 characters Twitter allows you. I knew about Ficlets, but I'm not so much into telling a short story as an amusing sentence or two.

Alive is good. Depressive paralysis is way too familiar.

I'll see you at Arisia!
