I'm on Twitter now. What's the protocol? The social protocol, I mean.

I found a bunch of ya'll and clicked the "Follow" button.

Do I announce my user name?

How do I get the fuckin' thing to dump to LJ?

Is there a "how to make it go" sort of page everybody uses?

The interface is WAY too fuckin' simple. It confused me.

Loudtwitter will get it to dump to LJ. Here's how to set it up to do that to a filter.

Seconding Rone's polite request. Twitter is for twittering. LiveJournal is for LiveJournalling. Please do not cross the streams.

Since Twitter is in and of itself obnoxious in the extreme when it gets beyond the 'I use this for personal microjournaling' stage, and since it's your own damn business how you use either, as long as you don't impose them on my space, I suggest a hearty "off-getfukenzie" to anyone saying that you should not do that.

However, for the sake of decorum, you might do what Chris Meadows has done in his robotech_master in posts like this which don't produce unecessary spewage of headers and fargle up friend-pages.
