Kelly J. Cooper
Eyeball feeling much better after just four days of drops.
Announcements sent to SGC mailing list.
Taxes completed (with lots of help from the BF) and e-filed. Nuthin' but refunds. (Albeit little ones.)
14 hours of non-stop fun planned for Wednesday.
Several checks deposited for a variety of jobs - mostly editing. Thank goodness.
Circlet orders shipped.
Plans for the remaining page of the next Circlet catalog sketched out. (Cecilia's already done the rest.)
Picked up mail from mailbox.
Prescription dropped off & pills picked up.
Pre-ordered book picked up.
Some sleep was had, consciousness attained at roughly the hoped-for time Tuesday morning.
By 5am Tuesday morning, taxes were mostly done, but dramatically expensive - waiting for help from the BF. Somewhat useless evening otherwise.
MYP weekly shiplist amended, emailed, and posted.
Food shopping done (Monday night) for the first time in a month.
Slept all day Monday, dammit.
Late to work Sunday, but worked late as well. Delicious dinner left in a warm oven for me by wonderful BF.
Saturday, got up late, but managed to make it out of town to help a friend get organized. Came home and was inspired to dust the house. Made it to the first floor (started on the third), sat down to rest, and fell asleep. Did not manage the phone call or the visit. Woke up when the BF called to announce he'd landed back in Boston. Did the week's dishes before he got home.
Worked late Friday night. Got a PILE of stuff done for the Picnic.
Friday morning, skipped my standing client meeting to see an ophthalmologist as my eye was getting worse, not better. (Previously, it would hurt when I got tired and feel better when I woke up; but it kept getting hurty sooner and I woke up on Friday in pain & didn't feel safe to drive.) My eye is OK but deeply irritated. I got two different kinds of drops.
Opened the Picnic (late) on Thursday morning - drove in cuz I was running late (I was still exhausted) and got caught in the spectacular clusterfuck that is Mass Ave headed into Harvard Square. They added an extra stoplight to make it as viscerally painful as possible. BUT, I opened the store before 11am. Okay. Gah. .
And that takes me back to Wednesday.
