Thank Goodness for Floaties! [Apr. 10th, 2008|01:52 am]

I am barely keeping my head above water.

In the last few days, I've picked up a bunch of prescriptions, ordered a book, worked a 12 hour shift at the Picnic (catching up on a bunch of stuff, including building, mailing out, and posting to millionyear the shiplist for this week), done a massive update of a project plan, edited a complicated PowerPoint presentation & sent it in, slept a lot...

So it had to be Monday afternoon that I received feedback on the PPT, learned how to use CPanel, used my knowledge of CPanel to dramatically update www.somervillegardenclub.org, got the SGC website forum turned back on, registered for the forum, hung out with friends & had dinner, did some art (designed necklaces mainly and worked through an idea for staging different beads in to facilitate future designs), started some laundry, documented my updates to the SGC page, mailed them out to the SGC board...

BREATHE...

I think it was Monday around midnight that I took a nap because my eyeball felt like it had a rock in it and flooding it with saline wasn't helping, woke up around 4am, edited the PowerPoint presentation again, put out the garbage & recycling, slept too much, failed to get over to Circlet, had a long conversation with my Dad (wishing him a happy birthday and discussing our Scottish and Irish ancestry), got & implemented feedback and additional updates on the SGC website, reheated the BF's home-made lasagna, moved laundry around, watched a bunch of recorded TV, did a bunch more work, downloaded updates for my computer, failed to shower, moved laundry around, slept again for 2 or 3 hours...

...woke up on-time (so this is Wednesday morning at this point), showered, dressed nice, brought the bin and garbage can back in, filled the car with gas, met with a client about security policies, drove back from client's office and stopped at Staples, bought a new copy of Norton Antivirus and a copy of TurboTax, picked up some staple Kelly-stuff at Whole Foods, watched more recorded TV while eating lunch, announced the forum at the SGC meeting tonight (which I attended, albeit late because I dozed off; learned a lot about Japanese gardens), made myself dinner, watched TV, more laundry, got back online, paid for an eBay thingy I bought (the money finally moved around from my bank account to my PP account), made a list of things to do that were floating around my head, called LexisNexis to determine their dispute process, documented the LexisNexis dispute process, set up new auctions for Circlet, and now I gotta crash again.

Somewhere in there I fed the fish several times. At least, they're not dead. I also read a lot of email, listened to various phone & cell messages, kept up with LJ, and knocked over many monumental piles of crap. I really need to clean. Talked to the BF. Brought in the mail Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Set up work, a phone call, and a visit for Saturday - hope I manage to do all three. Spent way too much money. The rock is back in my eye.

I mostly wrote this because the days are blurring together and I need to figure out what the hell I did when...
