The CD with pictures from Mom showed up today! (Thanks, Mom!)
We shall begin at the beginning...
I was a really ugly baby:
This picture is from May of 1970. I'd jes' been borned and gots a black eye. I was late. (Are you surprised?) I believe the necklace says "COOPER." A couple of the beads were pink, the rest white.
I got better, though.
1971. Me in the backpack carrier, Mom doing the lifting, my Step-Grandma and Grandpa (Dad's Dad) in the background. I was trained early to smile for the camera. Note the cutely dimpled elbows.
Um, let's see, narrative type stuff. I loved that carrier thinger. LOVED IT. No actual conscious memory of being in it, but whenever I see pictures of it, I grin. They kept it for a long time, so I know it was an aluminum frame with the blue canvas seat grommeted on.
I suspect I was born lazy. Or I liked being tall enough to see everything (except for a big space right in front of me). Maybe I liked being close to Mom or Dad. Anyway, awesome. Lots of images from when I was little but no real memories.
