Better News [Dec. 20th, 2008|05:51 am]

For those of you whose curiosity I piqued mentioning my friend Adam, we got MUCH better news today (er, Friday): http://community.livejournal.com/qgbs/13930.html

Updates appear in either qgbs (a community journal founded specifically to track his progress) or qbaz (Adam's personal journal).

Would it be completely dorky to suggest that we all set timers for, say, 4pm eastern time? And when the timer goes off you send healing energy, or pray, or make a wish, or just concentrate on Adam getting better?

I know it sounds woo-woo, but I don't have any money to donate to GBS causes and I've been stuck inside, illin' and unable to make anybody's life better.

That is a great idea! I'll do it and I'll ask the healing circle at PMTI to do it as well - they've been sending good energy to Adam every day during, well, circle at the beginning of all classes.

I feel so much better about everything after hearing this news - realizing just how much worry and angst had been about this ...

*hugs*

Thanks! I burst into tears when I read it. Much more dramatic response than when I got the 20% news.

Something about relief that's more intense than fear.

I'm not likely to make 4pm, but I've been praying for him every night before bed. Hopefully timing matters less than intent :)

Hells yeah!

I was just fighting back the feeling of helplessness, y'know? by organizing a little something.

Oh absolutely, I think it's a fabulous idea, especially for those who don't already have a ritual set. Thanks for spreading it!
